Aaricia is an indie-pop dance singer-songwriter from Montreal. Versatile in her approach towards music, she’s recognized for her distinctive melodies and dark pop essence. Inspired by her origins and the feeling of being torn between two worlds, the Montrealer shows us once again that she does not want to be restricted by launching herself into conquering both the English and French music scenes. In October 2023, she released her first French track, "Jamais deux sans toi." The single, fresh and catchy, quickly found its place on over 20 radio stations across Canada and in Paris. Securing the top position on the ChoqFm Toronto charts for 3 consecutive weeks, the song has been on rotation since its release. The first excerpt she presented to us in 2024, and her second French track, "failles," was a true auditory bandage. Also swiftly making its way on over 20 radio stations, ‘failles” was selected to be played on the radio show Clic-Franco (a collaboration between ADISQ and ARCQ broadcasted on 37 radios).
Her new single, Tout Va Bien, tackles current issues like the impact of social media on our mental health, all wrapped up in an infectious bop. Set to release on Mai 31st, the upbeat, witty and thought-provoking single is primed to earn a spot on our summer playlists.
Complex magazine described Aaricia's voice as "...deep, a little bit dark, and a lot soulful." Emerging from the underground scene in 2016 with her EP, "The Ruler," the singer quickly stood out with her debut album "Figures" released in 2017. Featuring her songs "Wildest Dream" and "Nothing", "Figures" gained worldwide traction by entering several iTunes charts in Canada and Europe (notably in Spain, Sweden, Poland, and Norway). The album led to Aaricia collaborating with French artist Clément Bazin on the single "Catch Me," released in 2018. Within a few months, the song had already surpassed one million streams on Spotify.
